Microsoft signed a strategic co-operation memorandum with the district government of Pudong New Area (Shanghai) to launch an artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of things (IoT) Lab in Shanghai. The lab is expected to open in April and will focus on accelerating the deployment of AI, IoT, and cloud computing services in retail, healthcare, and finance sectors.
