Firms fined 1 million dollars for data security breach in Singapore

SingHealth and Singapore's public healthcare sector agency (IHIS) have recently been
fined
with penalties amounting to one million dollars, after a data breach incident in July 2018. A cyberattack had led to 1.5 millions patients' data to be compromised, which was reportedly the
biggest breach
of personal data in the history of Singapore.
