Canada imposed new sanctions against Russian media by the end of last week. Canada's foreign affairs minister, M¨¦lanie Joly, announced sanctions on 29 agents and 15 entities owned or controlled by the Russian government which played a role in spreading Russian propaganda about the war in Ukraine, said the Office of Global Affairs in a news release.This includes Sumbatovich Gasparyan, the Head of the International Department at Russia Today (RT). Also, effective immediately, Canada has banned the import of certain gold imports from Russia.
