According to Bloomberg Law, the Columbian data protection authority has announced it would give ByteDance ten days to improve TikTok's data protection standards. The DPA announced in a ruling that it was giving TikTok a deadline to bring its data protection up to national standards before taking punitive action, including fines of up to US$460 000 for failure to comply.
