Cerner has announced that it will collaborate with Finald's regional leadership to develop a digital platform to support the delivery of healthcare and social services. Finland is undergoing a transformation to shift responsibility for the organisation of health and social services from municipal based health and social care to combined regional authorities. Aster is a co-operational organisation across 4 of Finland's 19 regions. In the first phase of the project, the focus will be on development and planning. In the second phase, Cerner plans to contract with Aster to deliver and implement the technology.
