The Leaders Innovation Forum for Technology (LIFT) Program, together with the Water Research Foundation and the Water Environment Federation, has released a strategic water plan for 2020¨C2025. The plan outlines four goals: (a) empower utilities to embrace water technology innovation; (b) create conditions that enable innovation with partners in and beyond the water sector; (c) broaden the water innovation community to advance knowledge and technology transfer, and (d) ensure program sustainability by focusing and augmenting efforts, resources, and interests of stakeholders involved in the issue.
