A new express cable route between Asia and South America is the result of a collaboration between Angola Cables and TM Global. The results of a proof of concept using the South Africa Far East which connects Malaysia and Angola and South Atlantic Cable systems connecting Angola and Brazil have demonstrated a latency reduction and the customer experience in the southern hemisphere is expected to improve should the system be pursued.
