European Commission launches International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications

Launched by the EU commission in Brussels, the International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) is envisaged as a global multistakeholder forum aiming to provide the framework to encourage public and private sector collaboration. Some of the members of the association include Barclays, Telef¨®nica, SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication), L'OREAL, Repsol, and others (full list here). The INATBA will also work on promoting distributed ledger technology (DLT) to be 'mainstreamed and scaled-up across multiple sectors'.
