The UK Government has launched a Safety Tech Challenge Fund, which will award five organisations from across the world up to ¡ê85,000 each to develop innovative technology for keeping children safe online especially in online messaging platforms with end-to-end encryption. The application can be submitted by 6 October and the fund will be provided for five months from 2021. The technology solutions that will be submitted will be evaluated by independent academic experts.
