Canadian software used to censor Yemeni Internet, report finds

The University of Toronto's Citizen Lab has published a report saying that Canadian software is used by Yemen's Houthi rebels to filter 'critical political content, independent media websites, and all URLs belonging to the Israeli (.il) top-level domain.' The report further clarifies that the Houthis generally profit from the limited access to information.
