How stressed were you this year? Your average stressed minutes per day could heavily depend on where you live and your gender, according to Oura's Year in Review data.

Annual Year in Review report

Oura is giving your smart ring data the Spotify Wrapped treatment with its annual Year in Review report released on Thursday. Findings from the report not only highlight individual trends, but also regional and gendered differences in activity, stress, and sleep.

Users wear their Oura Ring around the clock, making the smart ring an effective tool for gathering insights into daily behavior and routine.

Oura members who identified as women got higher sleep and activity scores in 2025, but they also clocked more stressed minutes per day. Women Oura members averaged 7.24 hours of sleep each night, while men Oura members got 6.8 hours. Women members averaged around 129 minutes of stress daily, while men members averaged 97 minutes, around a half hour less.

"Women are prioritizing rest and movement, but seem to carry a heavier stress load," Oura says in a blog post.

On the topic of stress, Fridays were the most stressful days of the week, while Saturdays were when Oura members were most active, and also slept the worst. And to no one's surprise, the US is No 1, with the highest average of 121.2 stressed minutes per day.

"This aligns with external research that often points to high rates of societal stress, economic concerns, and a fast-paced culture in the US," Oura says in a blog post.

Sleep is one of the greatest salves for stress, and some US states are sleeping better than others. Wyoming, of all US states, had the highest sleep scores, while DC had the poorest. Our nation's capital makes a comeback, however, with the highest activity scores, while West Virginia had the worst.

Alongside community stats, users will be able to see their personality types, categorized into Earth, Water, Fire, or Air, and based on solid recovery, prioritized sleep, high activity, or regular restoration. Users can view their readiness, sleep, and activity scores over the year, how often they napped, how stressed they were this year (the Year in Review will tell you the day you were impacted by the most physiological stress), and your activity routine.

How to find your Year in Review
